Fire!

Man's most valuable discovery by a long shot. He  could sit by it at night after a long days of hunting or foraging for food. This is the place language was refined.  The young learned many things.
The picture I set is this: A group of early man sitting around a fire as night fall around. The men having returned with a fresh kill a hour before. The women helped prepare, it then cook it. The supper start with the berries some of the women picked.  Dinner finished, everyone sat around and talked about there day.  The young sat and imagined what was said, bringing the pictures in their minds, about the exploits of the group.   

 

What is

In all man's history what do you think is the most important discovery?   I would encourage everyone who visit this blog to take time to answer, even thou my answer is the correct one.

No Place is....This Place

I take no credit for this title, I heard it recently.
I could not help but thinking why people, will not leave others along.
Countries can not help but get in each others business.
Maybe it is because we want control or just think we know better.

 JUST LOVE AND HELP EACH OTHER  would not that be a better way.
 I, may have some more thoughts at a later date about this.

Return to the Nest

                                       This is a photo of the nest two weeks later. I tried to get a better picture but the adult bird was very upset.  See y'all next time.
                                            

New Bike

                           

                              Here a picture of me riding my new bike.  The old one I had, the gears just went out.   The temperature is very hot now in S Louisiana. It will be a hot summer.

I will be posting a new painting on my other blog in the next few says. It is www.colorhound.blogspot.com  I am currently do a painting by Monet each month. Ready for summer?

The watermelons are ready to be eaten.



                          The birds are laying their eggs. Hopeful for the next generation.

We are hopefully will be able to take a few days vacation soon. Hope all will enjoy their summer.

Sometimes you just just get nicked

I was shaving this morning and I nicked myself. I thought 'sometimes you just get nicked'. Then I thought of the use of this in a blog.
 I will try to blog weekly. I will use real life situations, maybe a photo, and occasionally  a painting I am working on. I hope everyone who reads this will follow this blog. I will surely follow yours.          Eugene
